Young people everywhere in the world are faced with a lot of challenges, such as – peer pressure, crime, drugs, conflicting identity, etc, which is often influenced by the media of today’s world. At heritage hub of TREM, we are well aware of these issues, and we believe in giving the young people a chance to have their say with regards to any issue they may be facing.
Our young people are taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in order to help them grow in that knowledge and equip them to overcome the pressures they face on a daily basis among their peers, society and the media. They are often given opportunities to present drama, music and dance at our local church.
Young people want to be involved in what is happening within the church, but they are often misunderstood. So, at heritage hub of TREM, our aim is to carry our young people along, to encourage them, and ultimately show them why it is important to live a life pleasing to God.
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. ~ Ecclesiastes 11:9 KJV
